Spindle signed with Jerden Records in the summer of 1967, enjoying regional success with their 45rpm release of, 'Little Lies' (John Carter/Jeff Tassin/Tom Wilson) & 'Because I Love You', (John Carter).

The band's Bass player, Bill Carter, went on the write movie scores and songs, among which is, 'Crossfire', for Stevie Ray Vauhn.

Guitarist, Jeff Tassin has garnered three Emmys for his PBS compositions and the International Telly Award for his score for, 'Bhutan, A Cultural Diary'.
