This is "American Way." The band members all lived in the Dash Point - Browns Point - Dumas Bay area. We were all good friends and played from around 1980 to 1985.American Way was a weekend regular at the Log Cabin Tavern, The Algona Tavern, The Brick Tavern, and especially The Cloud Nine Tavern. Also played many festivals and parties like the Browns Point Salmon Bake, The Cloud Nine annual picnic, and Woodstick One and Two.
This was a solid rhythm and blues band playing something a little outside the norm. The song list was filled with tunes from bands like The Amazing Rhythm Aces, Delbert McClinton, Van Morrison, The Band, Dr John, Springsteen, etc.
