BOBBY LEE'S RHYTHM & BLUES BAND was a variant of "Bobby Lee and the Edsels" that played both  his Burlington club, Bobby Lee's Bar & Grill, and the Slo-Pitch in Bellingham .  It was primarily formed this way because of the blues talent that Steve Trembley brought to the mix.

Steve, originally from Detroit and a noted studio musician, took the original 50's and 60's format of the Edsels and added some great blues to round out Bobby's mid-nineties sound. In 1996, Steve and I went on to form the first edition of the Steve Trembley Band.  Bobby went on to re-establish the Edsels at his new club in Everson, WA, "Bobby Lee's Cozy Inn".  After a year with Steve and three CD projects of my own, I rejoined  "Bobby Lee and the Edsels" in 1998 and continued until Bobby retired from the band scene in 2000.  He is currently entertaining at his piano bar in Everson at "Bobby Lee's Cozy Inn" on Saturday and Sunday nights for casual listening enjoyment.
