Attempting
to put together core members of the Daily
Flash,
Bodine was formed in April 1968 in Los Angeles California, creating a
new
format for original music compositions. This union of impressive
musicians brought together David Brooks on keyboards from Berkeley, CA;
Eric Carl on vocals and guitar from New York; Steve Lalor from Seattle
on guitar and vocals; Kerry Magness from Seattle/Yakima on vocals and
bass;
and Jon Keliehor on drums from Seattle.
The initial development period for the band took place between Many and December 1968 in the Bay Area of California around San Francisco and Oakland. Bodine moved to Seattle in December of 1968, extensively touring the area, then packed up and left for Los Angeles in May of 1969. |
