This band started out in 1974 with the name "Family". Later after about a year or so, they changed the name of the band to "Light".   In addition to other lounge-lizzard kinds of places, they played at the Lake Forrest Park Sir-Loin Inn in Seattle, The Alpine in Everett, The Eighteenth Amendment in Bellevue, Ray's Golden Lion restaurant in Richland, WA and went to Alaska twice: Gold Rush Hotel in Anchorage for five weeks in the lounge and at the King's Kup in Fairbanks for four weeks.

Gordy Arlin was the drummer.  He had previously been in Axis Drive, and Cheeseburger Deluxe as well as Superband.  Gordy presently owns and operates three locations of "Bargain CDs Records and Tapes" in Everett, Marysville, and Snohomish, WA.

Cindy, wife of Brian, was a pretty good singer.  She later formed a band with Brian called Penrose, releasing an album, "Cyndi Knowles with Penrose"

Keith Bakke, a great singer and bass player, later formed a band called "Early Flight".  Keith was replaced in Light on bass by Dan Mallory.
