Northwest Dance Venues
Dancing at the Red Carpet - Tacoma - 1965
The Hatchcover Tavern
AKA:  The Ad Lib East
Bellevue Redmond Road
Bellevue, Washington

Some of the bands that performed at this place during those great years of NW music were:

A Boy and His Dog
Buffalo Clancy
Captain Oh Wow
Gordon Lightfoot
The Heats
Jerry Lee Lewis
Thin Red Line

The Hatchcover Tavern, was owned by Bill Doner who also owned Seattle International Raceway Park along with his partner Jerry the King Ruth a World Champion Race car Driver in the mile with his Full Blown Nitro Dragster & Funny Cars.

We changed the name to The AD LIB EAST, around 1977 which was located on the Bellevue Redmond Rd in Bellevue, where we provided the best in top name Show R&R throughout the Northwest.

Bill Doner threw in the Beer Concession at S.I.R.P. as a bonus which we operated also.
