The Intruders of Florence, Oregon was formed in the year of 1963 and performed up to 1967.  They were all classmates of Siuslaw High School in Florence.

The Popularity of The Intruders was a result of their unique Style and Showmanship. The original Band members were Denny Weaver - Lead Guitar, Tom Trammel - Rhythm Guitar, Willy Phillips - Bass, Mike Phillips - Drums. The Band started out playing for many of the Schools functions and Dances. Later on, Tom Trammel left the group and two new members joined the Band, Gary Henry - Lead / Rhythm Guitar and Keyboard, along with Gib Randall - Keyboard. The Intruders performed on the Oregon Coast and through out the Willamette Valley at Conventions, Fairs, Fraternal Organizations, College and Private Dances and Night Clubs.

In 1967, Lead Guitarist Denny Weaver went on to join The Fabulous Wailers of Tacoma, Wa. while Mike and Willy Phillips continue playing Clubs, Lodges, Events and Private Dances.
