The first Tri-CIties battle of the bands was held in Columbia Park.  I played in the group the Pharos from Kennewick, Washington and it was held on three flat bed trucks at the east end of the park.   Also in the event were the Pastels from Pasco and the Esquires from Richland.   Our group members were Bob Bissell, Dave Lewis, Jerry Larson and Jim Keller.

We also played second backup to the Turnabouts at Richland Roller Rink, and for the Grass Roots at Pasco's Plumbers and Steam Fitters
