The Northwest Company
The Pink Parlour... That place was notorious! If I recall correctly, it was strictly an after hours gig and didn't even open till 2 a.m. It's where bands, club employees and hard core types went after everywhere else had closed. I played there quite a few times and always enjoyed it.
Iit wasn't far from Chinatown and you had to go up stairs to get into it. I'm sure some of the viewers will remember it. One of the gentlemen that ran it, or did bookings for it, was a chap named Bob Burrows. As I understand it, in the subsequent years he was very active in Vancouver as a manager/promoter/agent of some renown
