I worked with a Country Rock group known as Red Thelin's Country Starlighters for the most of 10 years (78 - 87).  We played at the Everett Eagles for 4 solid years (78 - 82), broke up for a while, and reformed for another 3-4 years.  During my time away from them I had the great opportunity to work with Howie Johnson,  the ORIGINAL drummer for the Ventures.  This was a fun 2 years for me, and I learned what tasteful drumming was.  As I played bass, Howie and I clicked instantly.

My name is Lee Easter. I just looked up on the web. Red Thelin's Country Starlighters. I was one of Red's lead singers in 1964 to 1968.  THe members at the time were Red, Don Krider, Sunny Horton and myself

We performed at places such as the Kirkland Eagles, Auburn Moose, Monroe VFW,  and the Maltby Firemans' Ball.  If there is anyone who knew these guys, I would like to hear from you.
