Vince Clark
1951 - 2003

I played bass in a band called Restricted Thought in 1967-1968.  We played dances and other gigs around Vancouver.

Members were Bill Moore, Jack Nickel, Rick Robb, Fred Ikeda, and Vince Clark.  Vince Clark later played with Immanueal Kant, Albatross, and The Beverley Sisters.

Jack, Fred, and Rick went to Killarney High School. Vince Clark went to Burnaby South High School (got kicked out of Killarney for having hair too long and wouldn't get it cut).  Bill Moore went to Windermere Secondary School.

The band went "public" in 1967 after much practice - basically, a cover-band.  They played many dances at Falaise Community Centre (in The Project) near Rupert St. and 22nd Avenue, in East Vancouver, BC.

I subbed in as bass player for various bands in the East End, when they needed emergency help, but never went pro. Restricted Thought members went their separate ways in 1969.
