The band reunited
in
the 1980's and haved played one or more dates per year each year since
that time, usually in support of local charities. Their play list
is pretty much the same as it was in the 60's - lots of
Wailers,
Viceroys,
and other Northwest music mixed with early Stones, Beatles, etc. from
that
period.
Glen Smith and
Mike
Bolan joined the San Francisco group Mount Rushmore after the Fabulous
Shadows broke apart.

Being in high school in 1964 in Coeur
d'Alene,
Idaho meant you danced to the Fabulous Shadows. They were as much
a part of our lives as Coeur d'Alene Lake, Playland Pier, and Robbie's
Drive-in . I joined the Vibrants in
1965,
and the Shadows were our inspiration and musical mentors.
