The only gig I remember this iteration of the band playing was at The Exit on 96th and South Tacoma Way.  Willie did a great version of 'Driving Wheel' and 'Grit Ain't Groceries'.  He was the first real blues guy I ever played with.

In the summer of 1972, "The Village Band" played at "The Harbor Lights" in Anchorage, AK - This club was so boring that I had to dress up like a tree once in a while.  We did however get the opportunity to see some magnificent landscapes in Alaska.  Note the picture below of our band inside an ice crevasse in the middle of the Matanuska Glacier.  It was a hike getting in there.
