STONEHENGE - 2000 B.C.

There are many scientists that think they know how Stonehenge was built, but I don't think they really do. There are just too many enigmas there and back engineering doesn't work. There is a complete absence of any archaeological evidence of how the creators actually did it. It is unfortunate, but we will all leave this earth without knowing how they moved those monstrous stones across the prehistoric English countryside, moved them over the preexistent circular earthworks without one scratch to the surface of the grounds and put them into place with uncompromising precision. But even so, the creators of the monument gave us their story in megaliths, light and shadows.

The model (built by Billy Mc - 4 feet by 9 feet) shows what Stonehenge actually does. It is a light and shadow show, much like a giant sundial. Stonehenge is famous for its alignments with the sun. On June 21, the longest day of the year, the sun rises in the Northeast and shines its first rays down the axis line of the monument. The stones cast their shadows in alignment with each other signaling the event. It is a fleeting vision that only lasts a minute or so until the sun arcs up and goes out of the alignment. But in that moment, the secrets of the universe and life are revealed for everyone to see. But the problem is, is that no one agrees what the meaning is. Everyone sees it differently. So what I say is to look at it and check out what it "says" to you. About the only thing I can say that might make sense to most people, is that the monument tells me that life is worth living. There is a purpose. But what that purpose is, is for each one of us to live and find out for ourselves.
