Ferraris: I believe the above photo was taken at the Columbia Recreation Center in Vancouver. I'm going to look at my photos. It could even be one of my own. I know lots of them are floating around out there because I was always willing to get prints for anyone who wanted them. From around 1965 until around 1971 I was almost never without my funny little Kodak flash camera. Not the best camera but I did get some pretty good photos of bands. The photo was dated 1966 and that's about when I first saw them. Shortly after that they "broke up" and most of the members joined other bands. Three of them, Larry, Dennis and Rod joined a couple of other musicians to form Moxie. It wasn't around too long before it broke up. Again most of the members went into other bands, Sound Vendor being one. I'll organize my thoughts and information and get back to you.
Keep up the good work on the site. It brings backloads of fond memories. That was the favorite time of my life and apparently lots of people feel the same.

Ferarris or the Moxie were both from the Forest Grove, Oregon area. Larry Briggs was with both. Now deceased, he was also with the Untouchables and the Satans. Dennis Cunningham, also on vocals, and Rod Fuiten was on keys.

The Fantastic Ferraris played the Cirque the band included Dennis Cunningham, Randy Wasson , and an ex Yardbirds original guitarist. I remember they played an awesome "Smokestack Lightning".The Ferraris then evolved into "Brown Sugar" with Paul Delay and Jim Mesi.
