Comments: There's a wicked neat book on the Northwest scene. I think it's titled Dance Halls, Armories, and ... Anyway, it's a very good book. In some ways it's better than Jeff Lemlich's Savage Lost about the Southern Florida scene which is way too inclusive. But it's not as good as Tom W. Tourville's collection of Midwest scene books, Iowa Rocks, Minnesota Rocks, Back Door Men, They were Wild. I need to see that Northwest book again to scoop you guys. There's also a pic of Jim Brady and The Brady Bunch, I mean, The Sonics minus the actual Sonics.Monday 01/11/1999 5:55:28am

Comments: Been busy lately - haven't even had time to read up on the neat mail all of you folks have been sending.
Sam, Bill, Dave, the Parypa Bros. and I have lightly hashed around the idea of putting together some kind of "reunion" CD and bringing together as many of us "old geezers" (apologies to Buck Ormsby) as we can. Anybody up for seeing that happen? We'd probably play lots of the old stuff as it was meant to be. That is, down home, bluesy, ass-slappin' goodtime
Northwest Rock 'n Roll! Let us know. Have a Killer New Year! Rich (Been there, done that, want some more)

Comments: Good Site! I was surfing the links page on the louie report.I used to work at the Target Ballroom in Burien, and the Wailers were the first live band I saw! I'd be curious to find out info on Bighorn, and some other folks, like Merilee Rush, Denny Weaver of the Wailers. Back then I saw history in the making for NW rock, and it should have been a lot bigger on the national scene. There was also a lounge duo called "Michaels" that were pretty hot stuff, and they worked with Keith Olsen of Fleetwood Mac fame. Does anyone know if a CD exists of the Ron Gardner Band?

Just so all of the loyal fans of northwest bands will know Mr Carlson plays bass with me on a regular basis. He's a real nice guy with never a cross word for anyone. He's a real fart knocker of a guy. I really like him because he has less hair than me. Whit

I would like to tell all the ladies out there that he is a great guy and a true gentleman and if you ever have the opportunity to meet him -- it is definately worth your time. Comments: Hi, I looked at your comments. Always thought Rick Dees was the Disco Duck. Guess I was wrong. I liked the song, however. Really not familiar with your old group, The Regents. I never have been to the Pacific Northwest. The Big local group here in the 1960's was Bob Kuban and The In-Men. They had a big hit called "The Cheater". Nice page you have here. Could not find your hint, however, about Napoleon IX. Sorry about that.Sunday 03/28/1999 9:22:13am

Sammy, I think I met you down at Fuzz Fest 98. I was playing with Captain Cook & The Nootka Sound (RIP!)
I seem to remember talking with you at the hotel briefly and then seeing you up there with the A-bones
the same night we played. We had a great time in Atlanta.
Anyway, great web site, I love all the NW 60's bands hope someday to hear/find a Regents record. Jjon

You were with a guy who said his name was "Ramon" but that wasn't his real name. He played guitar with you that night and did most of the singing. I haven't stopped thinking about him as he I believe is destined to be the father of my children. He is the man of my dreams. Please post his name on your site and I'll do the rest. Thank you!
