Essentially a Lincoln High School (Portland, OR) band, they were composed of Charlie Loomis, Gary Goodman, Tom Goodman and Doug Keane on bass.They played around Portland in 1966-67 and took third place in the Battle of the Bands at Tigard High School. They all sang and were very accomplished musicians, instrumentally formidable.
Tom Goodman and Gary Goodman along with Brian Trainer (BT) and Joe Recken (all from Lincoln HS) formed The Excellent Berries along with Mike West and Steve Haining from Beaverton High School. Mike and BT joined Rock Residue in 1982 which is still performing around Portland. Rock Residue celebrated it's 20th Anniversary at Conan's Pub in SE Portland. BT is still a member, playing lead guitar and keyboards. See their website at rockresidue.com
Tom lives in Portland now and is a retired radiologist. Gary has a disposal service in Powell Butte, OR and was recently featured in an article in the local newspaper there. The whereabouts of Charlie and Dave are unknown at this time. Charlie was a dedicated guitarist and I imagine went on to play professionally.
