Ralph Wayne Nutter... His Stage name is Buck Richard Johnson. He was a battle of the bands in Seattle
Washington in 1960. They performed the song 'If I Were a Carpenter", which he wrote for Grant.

"Grant" was the fifth member of the band who was killed in an auto accident after a performance in 1967.   Before his death the band was called "Grant and the Blueboys"
