The Mama's Boys was a band formed in the late 1967. We were all Aberdeen High School student with the exception of Bobby Ostrom, he was still in Jr. High. We played the music of Young Rascals, Mitch Ryder, Them, Beatles, Outsiders, Sonics, and whatever else was popular at the time. We played the Famous DUNES at the beach. the Harborena, the Hoquiam ELKS, the Moose, and too many High schools dances. We even opened for the Grass Roots when they came to Ocean Shores to play for the Pat Boone Golf tournament. We had fun while it lasted. It was a great time to be in a band.  We all went are separate ways after a time but remain friends.
