Shearwater was started in 1982 by Mike Adams and Mike Nealon, who were bandmates in Honolulu and original members of The Gold Rush Blues Band.

Kim Dykes replaced Mike Nealon who now is in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island where he's still performing and recording today.

I've been the leader of Shearwater since 1982.  Four albums were recorded locally and we are still together.  Since my Shaker days, I have continued in music and still record In my studio.
