““Sleeper” was a “two Guitar” band that played a mix of original songs and select cover tunes.  The group gigged throughout Washington and British Columbia.  “Sleeper” played mostly clubs and was a great dance band.

Sleeper had a high energy level fueled by Greg Shue’s driving double bass drum kit.  The dual guitar workings of Mark Riley and Gregg Easton Christenson gave the group a distinct and original sound.  The solid, melodic bass of David Gardner combined with the three strong vocal harmonies of Gregg, David and Mark made for a sound that was tight, driving, full and sweet.

They started their album project with original material by Gregg, David, and Mark but too much time on the road and too little compensation led to the group disbanding in ‘76.
