Southwind was a country dance band that played all over Washington and Oregon.  They mostly played southern fiddle tunes such as Orange Blossom Special,  Cripple Creek,  Bile That Cabbage, etc.

Phill, previously from Oklahoma, was an incredible fiddle player who could wow any crowd.  He played with the great Bob Wills!

Some of the other Pacific Northwest music groups represented in members and crew of this group include:  Coal Creek Boys, The Ray Preategard Band and many other NW bands
