The 5 Shades of Blue;  A band of teenagers who played in some of the NW battle of the bands.  Members were Chuck Buser (later in Hard Times), Mike Bollinger, Shorty Adamson (also later in Hard times), Jim Whale & Dave Pattison.  The last I knew Chuck Buser was teaching guitar at Green River College.  He's still a great player.

I'm sister to Jim Whale and was well acquainted with the group.  Chuck and Joe co-wrote a lot of the bands' music with such songs as Courtesy Joe and the Boxboys, Central Park, and more.
