In Memory of

Ben Alvers

Argus was formed in 1972.  They played thru about 1975.  The band was a regular at Baldy's Tavern, Little Jim's Pub in the Tacoma area and many out of town taverns on the circuit, plus many concert and Rock Festival gigs.  We also became the adopted band for the biker group Resurrection out of Federal Way. We resided in what's now the town of Edgewood.

The band was Jamie Reno on drums, Ben Alvers (deceased) and Gary Hoyt on guitars, Bill Bowder on bass, and Brad Cyrier lead vocals. Of course we did many Wishbone Ash tunes, (hence the name) along with Led Zeplin, nine Allman Brothers tunes, and much more rock and roll.
