Ben Alvers

RatzTuner was put together in approximately 1972 - 1973.  We began playing at the Black Night in Puyallup and Port Townsend and other places that would have us.

Ben Alvers came into the band a little later and absolutely hated the name.  That’s when it was changed to Argus.

RatzTuner by the way if I remember was coined by Boughter, Hoyt and Don Golden as a name for ketch up, as in, please pass the ketchup.
