Eugene Armory
Eugene, Oregon

Some of the bands that performed at this place during those great years of NW music were:

The Genetics (OR)
Pink Floyd
Searchin' Soul Blues Band

The Seeds
Sons of the Champlin
Steve Miller Band
Texas Playboys  (Dec 1948)
The Wailers

Others??

I graduated from Thurston High School in 1967 and saw many bands at the Eugene Armory

I saw The Wailers here no less than three times.  The acoustics were good, but nothing like the Torq Club.  We were one of the first bands to play at the Iron Bridge with their new recording equipment.

Bill Shaw, drummer for The Torries, May 2012

The Texas Playboys played at the Eugene Armory in Dec. 1948.  Bob Wills was not there but his Brother Billie Jack was the drummer.

Marie Pike, November 2012

I saw the Seeds at the Eugene Armory in the fall of 1967
