Sandy Forrest, Dave Cannon and Mark Thompson left the band to join with members of another Anchorage band called Proof to form Mothers Apple Pie and Baseball Band, which was extremely popular and opened for the Turtles at the Alaska Centennial Exposition in Fairbanks.

Mothers moved to Seattle to make it there, but Mark Thompson and Sandy Forrest were both 1A and decided to enlist in the Air Force.
