The band King Kybo started in 1967 and were together until 1970.  We played our first gig in front of our middle school class (West Linn's Bolton Middle School) at a talent contest and won first place.  We then went on and won our first battle of the bands in Milwaukie three weeks later. There were not a lot of venues for 13 year old rockers back then. We actually played quite often at school dances and such.
