The New Society participated in the Washington State FInals, Battle of the Bands in 1969, presented by the Edmonds Jaycees

I was surfin PNW Bands and I came across "New Society" in the additions.  I remember the band well. They played often in the Lakewood area at teen clubs and schools.

Michael Brandon Reed was a drummer for The New Society.  For a couple of years it was only Serni, Scott, Bill and Mick in the band.  I remember their band playing in Steilacoom 1966 and he was with the band through 1969.

Michael later was on keyboards with “The Garfan Gathering”  with Speedy Garfan based Nevada.
