Garth O'Bray

After having played the top spots in the United States and Canada, including Las Vegas, Miami Beach, etc., the Note-Ables are now based in Vancouver, performing for conventions and special events.

The Note-Ables have appeared at EXPO 86 (total 49 days); the Kelowna Regatta, Kimberley Winterfest, Kimberley Summerfest, as well as many private functions and fund raising events such as Timmy’s Christmas Telethon: Vernon Lions Club Diamond Dinner and the B.C. Lions Alumni Association Grey Cup Benefit for Alzheimer’s at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver.

The Note-Ables’ show is packed with high energy 50’s and 60’s Rock n’ Roll with plenty of comedy throughout. Most of the dance sets are 50’s and 60’s music along with some tunes by Bob Seger, Dire Straits, Dwight Yoakum, Georgia Satellites, ZZ Top, etc. and if the crowd is into it, the odd polka!

During the dance sets, The Note-Ables are still performing bits of comedy such as Rodney Dangerfield’s "Twist & Shout" complete with enormous tie and jokes, and Willie & Waylon with headband and cowboy hat.
