Seattle Transit performed from 1983 through 1985.  The members of Seattle Transit included Tom Waddell (bass, vocals and group leader), Lisa Healy (Keyboards), Dean Richie (lead guitar, vocals) and Larry White (drums).   The highlight of the band's existence was to have done a concert tour of Western Washington with the famous Drifters.

Seattle Transit did concerts in Tacoma, Chehalis, Port Angeles and Olympia.  They were more or less the house band at the Drift On Inn on Aurora Ave. before it became a casino.  Some other places they worked were Charlie R's in Mill Creek, The Porterhouse Inn in Bothell, and the Eagles Club in north Seattle.

We did mostly oldies rock n' roll from the 50's and 60's. The group disbanded when I went to Taiwan to teach English and work in the music business there.

The last I heard, Lisa, Tom and Larry were all still in the Seattle area and doing well.

Some of the other Pacific Northwest music groups represented in members of Seattle Transit include The Dark Horse Band, Fire and Rain, U.S. Mail, City Lights and many others NW bands.
