The first gig Streets ever played was a high-school dance in Buckley, Washington. Other venues included Seattle's Buffalo Tavern and McMahon Hall at the University of Washington. Rick May and Marcus Duke later  formed a short-lived duo called The Guitars (no guitars were used, unless you count a solid-body electric 5-string mandolin) that appeared at the U District's Hall of Fame and Fabulous Rainbow. Rick May later played with The Different Ones, Get Off the Stage, Syd Sez, and Dark Molly.  Marcus Duke went on to play in Night School, The World Beat Band, and Talismen (Seattle).
