"The Fourth Day" evolved somewhat from the "Desolutes" and ultimately was far more successful. We played the Red Carpet as regulars from Spring 1966 through 1968. We also played Perl's in Bremerton, Sheraton Park Hall (*opening for the McCoys in spring 1967), The Evergreen Ballroom, The Tork Club in Eugene (*Springfield, OR), the Lane County Fair in Eugene (1966 & 1967), both BFD's in Seattle, The Seattle Teen Fair (*club west in spring 1967), many jobs at Olympic College, U.P.S. frats & sororities, P.L.U. frats & sororities, and many high school dances to include: Wilson, Bellermine, Aquinas, Bethel, Franklin Pierce, Fife, South Kitsap, North Kitsap, and Charles Wright Academy. We won the "B&I" battle of the bands in 1966 and did a commercial playing "High Heeled Sneakers" behind Bob Corcoran hawking Beatle boots.Jim Adams, June 2004
