In Memory of

Mark Hutton

SLATZ was a progression of musical talents that evolved from a bunch of folks having fun into a serious band.  The members were drawn from students attending CWSC (now Central Washington University).

We played anywhere that could afford us, and we were cheap.  Yakima, Spokane, Tacoma, Vancouver BC and of course Kittitas County.

Our specialty was having fun.  Our music ranged from Blood Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Santana, CSNY to Sly, Sam & Dave, and Ottis Redding.
