Valley Hills Funeral Home, Yakima
26 September 2010Bill was born August 29, 1955 in San Diego, CA. He was raised in Yakima and moved to Seattle when he was 18 to follow his one true love of being a drummer. He played in several bands in the Seattle-Tacoma area. He moved back to Yakima to be close to his family. For the last couple of years Bill had been playing at open jam nights at JackSons and the Speakeasy. Bill was easygoing, friendly and had a great smile. He had many friends and will be missed by all. His main job has been to look after his mother and sister, which could be a full time job. God must have needed another drummer in His band.
He is survived by his loving mother Billie Browning and loving sister Debrah Criswell, both of Yakima; his half brother Ryan Browning and his best friend and brother in music, Shane Harmon of South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his father Joe Browning.
He was loved and will be dearly missed. Rock on Bill!! For the love of Duke, the family dog, please send any donations to the Yakima Humane Society in lieu of flowers. Send condolences at www.valleyhillsfh.com.
