The Starchiefs
started
in 1984 in conjunction with the Seattle Music Society and performed
through
2005. The Starchiefs played all genres of music, old , new, blues and
Motown.
Many of the songs in the set include northwest classic rock like "Have
love will travel", "Dirty Robber" and many more. Original compositions
and anything else you can imagine are also part of the Seattle Music
Society's
artistic exploration. Private party's concerts and car shows are
the main venue with a wide audience range. The Starchief's are
part
of the Seattle Music Society whose goal it is to perpetuate,
preserve
and perform all styles of music in a historical context. Vintage
clothing
and instruments are used in any given show depending on the venue.
Other
names of the band are: Adult Movies, The Electric Plastic, The
Swingcapators,
The Elastic Waist Band.
