The Sensations formed from members of the Marvelles. The Sensations played a harder-edged set of tunes, drawing more from Stax than Motown, more from Soul than girl-groups. Dave Croston continued his remarkable arranging on tunes like “Superstition”, Peter sang more leads, and we continued to have loads of fun on stage. Some of the Pacific Northwest music groups represented in members of this group include: The Burning Sensations, Funky Robot, Logrythm, Spys, The Econotones, Marvelles, Toasters, Type A Band, Larry Hill and Extraordinaire, Tim Hall Band, The Wailers, Jumbo Groove, and many other Northwest bands.
